Kids have until October 15th to submit designs for the City's 2021 holiday card.
The Port Colborne Christmas card design contest is returning!
Mayor Bill Steele is inviting kids to help design the City's 2021 holiday card, with the theme "Christmas in Port Colborne."
The mayor is looking for an image that conveys the holiday spirit and has a focus on a person, place or thing in Port Colborne.
"This is one of my favourite Christmas traditions at the City of Port Colborne," said Mayor, Bill Steele. "I always enjoy seeing the creative and colourful submissions we receive from our local students. This is just one of the many ways we can engage the Port Colborne community and celebrate this festive season."
The contest is open to children up to grade 8 who live or attend school in Port Colborne.
Submissions can be painted with fingers or brushes, or drawn with crayons, pencils, markers or pastels.
Pictures must be received at the Mayors Office in City Hall by Friday October 15th, and the child's name, address and phone number needs to be on the back of the artwork.
Submissions can be dropped off in person at 66 Charlotte St., Port Colborne, ON, L3K 3G8.
