The City of Port Colborne is moving forward with a road allowance study along the shoreline of Lake Erie
The study is being done in anticipation of the summer 2021 season.
Last year, City council was asked to review road allowances around the shoreline.
A plan was established, and it includes measures for ensuring environmental protection, commercial activity and the protection of residential amenities.
The first phase of the study included mailing letters to residents last month, in order to get their input.
Once the feedback has been examined, the City will conduct a virtual public meeting that will be open to local residents.
Anyone who is interested in learning more can tune in to Monday's council meeting.
It will be streamed live at 6:30 PM on the City's YouTube channel.
