The NRP is aware of a video that's been posted on the At War for Animals Niagara YouTube page promoting an upcoming protest in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
It's titled Call to Action 2 and it features a person with a mask and a distorted voice encouraging people to go to Simcoe Park on Sunday.
The protest is supposed to be in defense of Regan Russell, an animal rights activist who was killed after she was hit by a truck outside a pig slaughterhouse in Burlington back in June.
She was trying to give water to pigs inside a truck when she was hit.
The video alleges that local pro-horse carriage activists have labelled her death a suicide.
The group At War for Animals Niagara has been protesting horse drawn carriages in Niagara-on-the-Lake for years.
