Province Cracking Down on Big Box Stores Not Following COVID Rules

Police and government inspectors are ramping up efforts to make sure we comply with the new lockdown measures.

Over the weekend, safety inspectors conducted a big box store blitz in the GTHA and found 30 stores not in compliance with provincial directives.

11 tickets and 11 warnings were issued as a result.

Last week, Niagara Parks says it issued several tickets to a group of visitors from the Hamilton -Toronto area gathered at Table Rock.

And six people were recently fined by bylaw officers for violating COVID-19 rules at an Airbnb in Niagara on the lake.
