We spoke to Tourism Minister Neil Lumsden, who says there are many ways to mark Canada Day throughout the province
If you're heading out of the city for Canada Day, there are lots of ways to celebrate across Ontario.
We spoke with Tourism Minister Neil Lumsden, who told us a bit about what's happening in other areas tomorrow.
"There's free admission opportunities at the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) and Ontario Place. There's really so much. There's also Science North in Sudbury."
He also says he expects to see more tourists, especially now that pandemic restrictions have eased.
"We're seeing an increase in the number of people who are traveling or moving around and experiencing what Ontario has to offer, whether it's Ottawa or Niagara Falls...they're feeling more comfortable about it."
Lumsden also notes that there may not be as many fireworks shows across Ontario, with much of the province being under air quality alerts, due to wildfire smoke.
