Orders for Suspension forms mailed to families with children whose vaccination records are not up to date
Back to school is only a few weeks away, and Niagara Region Public Health is reminding parents to make sure kids are up to date on their shots.
Officials say about 10,000 students in Niagara have a record that is out of date.
Orders of Suspension have been mailed to families of kids without complete immunization records.
Suspensions will start on September 26th, but families still have time to make sure their kids are vaccinated and their records are updated.
Appointments can be made by contact Public Health.
Public Health says keeping children up to date on immunizations helps prevent outbreaks of diseases like chicken pox, polio and measles.
