Metrolinx has issued a public tender for the construction of the Confederation GO Station in Stoney Creek.
Niagara West MPP Sam Oosterhoff says this is great news for the people of Niagara, adding this will help commuters and those who move throughout the GTA.
Once it’s built the station will include an accessible island platform, stair access from Centennial Parkway and about 150 parking spaces.
More details regarding the construction schedule should be released once the contract is awarded.
