Niagara Regional Police say victim hit with stool.
A 32 year old Quebec man is charged with aggravated assault following a serious assault in Niagara Falls on Sunday.
Niagara Regional Police were called to a home in the area of Lamont Avenue and Mundare Crescent after reports of a man suffering from a serious head injury.
NRP say an argument between the two men escalated and the victim was struck with a kitchen stool.
The 40 year old victim was treated at the scene and later transported to an out of region hospital.
Sebastien Joseph Picard of Normandin Quebec is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
