This after major delays getting into Canada yesterday
The calm after the storm so far this morning at Niagara's border bridges.
Yesterday there were hours long waits on the bridges as Americans rushed to Canada to visit friends, family and their cottages.
But while the border is now open to double dosed Americans entering Canada, there is still no indication when the Biden administration will reciprocate
But a Buffalo congressman says he is continuing to push for a reopening to Canadian visitors as well.
President Biden extended the restrictions on non essential travel until August 21st at the earliest because of the spread of the Delta variant.
Chris Jacobs says he is going to continue to put the pressure on, and demand the President reconsider.
Jacobs adding Canada is showing us how we can do this safely.
