The Niagara Region says people can move in next month
The big day is almost here for anyone looking to move into the redeveloped Gilmore Lodge in Fort Erie.
The Niagara Region says people living at the existing Gilmore Lodge and Upper Canada Lodge can make the move December 18th.
The state of the art building was designed with input from residents, staff, families and community partners, for enhanced spacious rooms, with individual climate control and better connectivity to other residents.
The region adds the 160-bed home has a number of 'neighbourhoods', each for 32 people, designed to help with infection control and manage outbreak protocols.
And, the Gilmore Community Hub opens January 6th.
