Vandals damage stegosaurus on display at Niagara Falls hall
The owner of the dinosaur is offering a reward for the return of the beast's head.
Last week vandals tried to steal the entire stegosaurus in front of the Knights of Columbus Hall on Stanley Avenue across from the Scotiabank Convention Centre.
But the vandals gave up and just took its head.
The dinosaur is part of an exhibit at the hall, called "Dinosaurs, Feathers and Fossils" with proceeds going to two local non profit agencies, the GROW Community Food Literacy Centre in Niagara Falls and the Knights of Columbus.
According to Niagara This Week the owner is offering a $1,000 reward for the return of the head.
