No cause of death given
Robbie Bachman, best known as the drummer for the band Bachman Turner Overdrive, has died at the age of 69.
His brother, Randy Bachman, confirmed the news on social media.
"Another sad departure. The pounding beat behind BTO, my little brother Robbie has joined mum, dad & brother Gary on the other side," Randy Bachman wrote on Twitter.
No cause of death was given.
The band was formed in 1973, and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2014.
