George Michael, Missy Elliott and Willie Nelson among this year's honourees
We now know who is getting inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame this year.
The Rock Hall announced the 2023 inductees earlier this morning.
In the performer category, George Michael, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, Willie Nelson, Kate Bush, Rage Against the Machine, and the Spinners are part of this year's group.
Meanwhile, Chaka Khan, Al Kooper and Bernie Taupin has been named the recipients of the Musical Excellence Award.
Link Wray and DJ Kool Herc will get the Musical Influence Award, and the Ahmet Ertegun Award recipient will go to "Soul Train" host Don Cornelius.
The Rock Hall says this year's group was chosen because they have “created music whose originality, impact, and influence has changed the course of rock & roll."
The ceremony will take place on November 3rd at Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, New York.
