The keepsake is aimed at educating Canadians about the impacts of the residential school system.
The Royal Canadian Mint has released a new keepsake coin that honours victims and survivors of Canada's residential school system.
The coin was developed in partnership with the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation.
The Royal Canadian Mint says it represents a past that we must not forget, as well as a better future.
You can buy the keepsake here for $9.95.
Proceeds will benefit the Na-mi-quai-ni-mak Community Support Fund.
Both sides of the coin include images that reflect First Nations, Metis and Inuit cultures.
