This comes after two players entered the league's COVID-19 protocols.
Officials say they made the call while they await the results of testing on those players.
The team's training facilities have also been closed and will remain closed until further notice.
Initially the league cancelled last night's Sabres Islanders matchup blaming the storm hitting the east coast in part
The NHL said the Sabres had planned to fly out early but that required COVID contact tracing and testing protocols which the league says could not be completed "appropriately."
What the league did not address is the fact the Sabres played the Devils in back to back games over the weekend.
Sundays game was allowed to proceed even though several New Jersey players had been placed in the COVID-19 protocol.
A total of 10 Devils players ended up in that protocol.
