The NHL says it's due to the impending weather
If you had tickets to see the Buffalo Sabres take on the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday night, you may want to get a refund.
The NHL says the game has been postponed due to severe weather in the forecast.
The game has been re-scheduled for March 4th at 12:30 p.m at KeyBank Center.
The Sabres were originally supposed to host the Philadelphia Flyers that day, but that game will now take place on January 9th.
A storm warning has been issued for the nearshore waters of Lake Erie from Ripley to Buffalo.
Meanwhile, a winter storm watch, a lakeshore flood warning and heavy freezing spray warning are in effect for several parts of Western New York.
