Seaway Authority Announces Welland Canal Spring Reopening Date

The date has been set for the Welland Canal's 2021 opening.

The locks between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario will open to boats the morning of March 19th.

The traditional top hat ceremony in Port Colborne will go virtual this year because of the pandemic.

And just a reminder to motorists who take the Lakeshore Road or Allanburg Bridges to work or school, both spans are closed from 9 to 4 today and tomorrow for routine maintenance.
