Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the northern and southern Niagara regions.
The weather station says conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that could cause strong wind gusts and heavy rain tonight.
There could be winds up to 90 km/hr, nickel size hail and heavy downpours as the cold front moves through a humid airmass.
Drivers may notice flashfloods and water pooling on roads.
You're advised to take cover immediately if threatening weather approaches.
