We could be in for quite the storm in Niagara.
Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the Region.
It says we could be in for heavy rain, nickel sized hail and wind gusts up to 100 kilometres per hour this afternoon and into this evening.
Strong winds can easily toss around loose objects, heavy rain could cause flooding on the roads and lightning kills and injuries people every year.
The Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management says you should take cover immediately if you notice any threatening weather.
