The SIU is no longer investigating an interaction, between a man and NRP officers.
It happened back in July 2019, but the SIU didn't hear about it until October.
The SIU tried to reach out to the man for an interview. They were later contacted by his lawyer, who informed them that the man would not be speaking with SIU investigators.
Interim Director Joseph Martino says they also didn't receive a medical release from the man, so they were unable to confirm the nature his injuries.
