The SIU has found no reason to charge the NRP following an arrest in Niagara Falls.
The manager of motel on Lundy's Lane called police to complain about an unruly tenant back in May.
The SIU says the 49-year-old man was allegedly damaging motel property and chased the manager.
NRP officers arrested the man and he fell while they were walking towards the cruiser.
He fractured his ankle and he was taken to Greater Niagara General Hospital afterwards.
