The SIU says police had interaction with man at marina, before firing at him, he died at the scene
A 22-year old man is dead after being shot by police at Turkey Point.
Ontario's Special Investigations unit is looking into what exactly happened early Tuesday afternoon.
It was around 1pm, when the marine unit near the Turkey Point marina noticed a smaller boat that caught their attention.
They tried to get the operator to stop, who instead made it to the marina, and ran into some nearby bushes.
The SIU says there was an interaction between police and the man, two officers fired at him, he died at the scene.
