Niagara Regional Police have released the latest impaired driving stats.
Six people are facing impaired driving charges following spotchecks in Niagara.
The NRP says between December 6th and December 12th, two people from Thorold and one individual each from Niagara Falls, Wainfleet, St. Catharines and Lincoln were arrested.
The individuals were charged with impaired driving by drugs or alcohol, driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit, or refusing to provide a breath or blood sample.
Each person also received a 90 day license suspension.
The NRP says impaired driving is the leading cause of criminal deaths in the country.
