Harmony Jewellers in Grimsby robbed
In a case similar to the robbery of Griffin Jewellery at the Pen Centre on Thursday, thieves have robbed another jewelry store in Niagara.
Police were called just before 4pm, Saturday, to the Harmony Jewellers on Main Street in Grimsby, which was open for the day.
They found six suspects smashed the front door with small sledgehammers, walked in, and used the sledgehammers to break a number of display cases.
Police say they took some jewelry, then fled in a vehicle toward Mountain Street.
There were no injuries.
Five people used a sledgehammer on Thursday to break display cases of Griffin Jewellers at the Pen Centre, fleeing in a waiting vehicle.
