Snow removal crews in St. Catharines are still dealing with the aftermath of yesterday's storm.
S'No Parking is now in effect in the Garden City, which means drivers should not be parking on the side of the road.
You won't be fined if you decide park on the side of the road anyway, but you could find yourself in trouble if you break the city's parking by-law;
- Parking is prohibited at downtown on-street metered spaces from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00
a.m.
- Parking on regional roads is prohibited from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Parking is restricted to 12 hours on any street where parking is permitted.
Breaking the by-law could result in a $30 ticket or your vehicle being towed.
You can park for free overnight at both the Ontario Street and Carlisle Street/Garden Park parking garages, but all vehicles must be out by 8:00 a.m.
