Niagara Peninsula Conservation Authority is re-opening some conservation areas and trails for passive use.
Starting today, you can visit Two Mile Creek, Willoughby Marsh, Comfort Maple, E.C. Brown, Humberstone Marsh, Wainfleet Wetlands and Virgil.
Passive use includes activities like walking, hiking, biking, photography and bird watching.
All amenities including washrooms and parking lots are still closed.
A detailed list of the areas opening in phase one can be found on the NPCA website.
Flagship parks including Ball’s Falls will be considered for a future re-opening date.
