Education minister to introduce back to work legislation today
Serious battle lines being drawn between some Ontario school boards and the provincial government over education.
At least three boards say they will shut down schools if support staff fully withdraw their services later this week.
The Toronto Catholic Board, the Kawartha Pine Ridge Board and a Peterborough Catholic Board have all said they will not be able to operate safely if C-U-P-E members walk off the job.
The Canadian Union of Public Employees gave the required five days' notice for a job action over the weekend.
Education minister Stephen Lecce fired back saying the government intends to table legislation today to impose a contract.
