Library launches Tackleshare Program
Library cardholders can now borrow fishing rods, reels, tackle boxes, and get youth fishing licenses from the Chippawa library location.
It's all thanks to the TackleShare Program which makes fishing equipment available to Ontarians at no cost.
When you borrow TackleShare equipment you will be given one fishing rod and reel, one tackle box with various lures and bobbers, and one youth fishing license.
For those 18 and over, you will need to provide your own fishing license in order to take out the equipment.
And a reminder, you can fish without a license in Ontario on Mother's Day and Father's Day weekends and during Family Fishing week in July
