It is going to be an exceptionally hot and sticky day
Environment Canada says the mercury is set to climb to 31 degrees today with a humidex of 37, followed by a low tonight of 20 C which the weather office notes will provide little relief from the heat.
But it's a one day event with cooler temperatures in the forecast tomorrow.
Environment Canada reminds everyone to stay hydrated, dress for the weather and spend a few hours at least in a cool place.
