A lawyer based in St. Catharines has been appointed to the Superior Court of Ontario.
Leanne Standryk, a partner at Lancaster Brooks & Welch LLP, will replace Justice R.A. Lococo, who chose to become a supernumerary judge this past February.
Standryk, who was born and raised in Niagara Falls, developed a reputation representing sports organizations at the national, provincial and grass roots levels.
This past November, she was elected to the Hockey Board of Directors.
