City Hall and St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre closed to the public as COVID-19 cases continue to surge.
The City of St. Catharines is informing residents that due to rising COVID-19 cases, several City facilities are closing, in accordance with new provincial measures.
Starting tomorrow, City Hall, the St. Catharines Museum and Welland Canals Centre and the St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre will be closed to the public.
The same also applies to older adult centres, all arenas and community centres.
City Hall services will be delivered remotely.
The Farmer's Market will be open at a reduced capacity on Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., with enhanced safety measures in place.
While all in-person recreational and older adult programming has been halted for the time being, the City will continue to deliver virtual programming and connecting with older adults over the phone.
