New outdoor courts could be built at Burgoyne Woods by 2026
St. Catharines City Council is going after a grant to help fund some new outdoor pickleball courts at Burgoyne Woods.
Councillors approved a motion last night to seek some provincial cash through the Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund.
Cost of the new courts is $900-thousand and the grant program could offer 50 per cent of that cost.
If the city gets the grant and approves the project the new courts could be built by 2026.
