About $145,000 worth of ketamine seized
A St. Catharines man has been arrested after a package containing drugs was seized at the border.
Earlier this month, police were notified by border officials about a package that had been shipped to Canada from Germany.
Officials say the package, which was headed to St. Catharines, contained 4 grams of ketamine.
The drugs have an approximate street value of $145,000.
Yesterday, police searched the home, and arrested 64 year old Xuan Anh Vo.
He's been charged for the following offences:
- Import Schedule I Substance of More than One Kilogram - Sec. 6(1) CDSA
- Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking - Sec. 5(2) CDSA
