A man from St. Catharines has been arrested following an investigation into the sale of illegal drugs.
The case opened earlier this month, and the suspect was arrested yesterday in the area of Greenlaw Place and Welland Avenue.
A search warrant conducted near Niagara Street and North Street turned up cocaine, crystal meth, fentanyl, dilaudid pills, and oxycodone pills.
Officers also found over $5000 cash, a black Sig Sauer 9 mm semi-automatic gun, 12 gauge shotgun shells, a 12 gauge sawed-off shotgun and a butterfly knife.
Police estimate the street value of the drugs to be around $10,200
Thirty-four year old Adam Eggleton of St. Catharines is facing numerous charges relating to firearm and drug possession.
