Driver caught in uninsured vehicle.
Niagara OPP have laid charges against a motorist traveling on the QEW in St. Catharines this morning.
OPP tweeting out the driver was stopped for distracted driving, and further checks revealed the car wasn't insured.
The motorist said they thought their ex was paying for it.
Police say you should always ensure your car insurance is paid and keep your phone out of sight when driving so you're not tempted to use it.
