St. Catharines Ranked As One of Canada's Priciest Cities for Renters

Average price for one bedroom apartment in St. Catharines is $1360.

A recent report has listed St. Catharines as the ninth most expensive city in the country for renters.

According to the Canadian Rent Report by Zumper, the average renter in St. Catharines pays $1360 for a one bedroom apartment, and $1640 a month for a place with two bedrooms.

The report says the city climbed three spots after a 4.6 percent monthly growth rate for one-bedroom rentals.

Vancouver, Toronto, and Burnaby nabbed the top three spots.
