Woman charged with Trafficking a Controlled Substance and Causing Death by Criminal Negligence.
A St. Catharines woman is facing charges in connection to an overdose death.
In January, Niagara Regional Police and the Opioid Enforcement and Education Unit began an investigation into the death of a 24 year old man.
Investigators say he died in his home as a result of consuming an Opioid.
The accused was arrested yesterday, and is related to the deceased.
Her identity has not been released.
