A worker at Hotel Dieu Shaver has tested positive for COVID-19.
The hospital says there are no other known cases and the staff member is self-isolating at home.
Some other staff have also been placed into self-isolation as a precaution, along with a small number of patients.
Visitor restrictions will be in place until the all clear is given from Public Health.
The situation is being monitored closely and adjustments will be made as needed.
