A flood watch is in effect for Lake Erie.
The NPCA says the water levels were already 35 inches above average yesterday and they could go up another 18 inches today.
This would bring the total elevation to about 175 metres.
We could also see wave heights around 5-feet.
The water levels should start to go down tonight and into tomorrow.
Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for Niagara, with gusts up to 80 kilometres per hour in the forecast.
