Migrant worker from Mexico killed in June when three people were hit by SUV in St. Catharines.
Police have made an arrest in connection to the death of a St. Catharines farm worker.
On June 13th, three men walking along the side of the road with their bikes were hit by an SUV on Seventh Street Louth near South Service Road in St. Catharines .
One of the cyclists, 36 year old Fermin Soto Sanchez, died in hospital, while the others sustained serious injuries.
All three victims were Mexican residents working at an area farm.
The NRP says a 51 year old woman from St. Catharines was arrested earlier today.
Her name has not been released.
The suspect has been charged with careless driving, careless driving causing death and careless driving causing bodily harm.
The woman is due in court on September 13th.
Earlier this summer, a Go Fund Me campaign raised about $56,000 for Sanchez's family.
