Talks Resume Today for Province and ETFO

They will sit at the table today for the first time in over a month.

A government-appointed mediator will oversee talks between the province and the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario.
The union will ramp up job action is a deal isn't reached by Friday.
The Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario is planning a province-wide strike once a week, starting next Thursday.
Each school board with public elementary teachers would also be hit by weekly, rotating, one-day strikes.
Public elementary schools in the District School Board of Niagara will be closed next Thursday and Friday, if a deal isn't reached in time.
