Police say teenaged driver charged with impaired driving after crash into tree
A 17-year old boy from Niagara Falls has been charged with impaired driving after a serious collision in Fort Erie.
Police were called at around 1 this morning to a single car crash on Dominion Road, to find a white 2022 BMW had crashed into a tree.
An 18-year old woman from Niagara Falls was ejected due to the impact, and remains in an out of region hospital with what's believed to be life-threatening injuries.
Police add the driver and a 19-year old man, a passenger, were treated for minor injuries.
The driver has a bail hearing today in St. Catharines.
Dominion Road, from Kraft Road to Rose Avenue remains closed.
