The province announcing it is extending the wage hike for a third time
The province says the $3.00 an hour increase will continue until October 31st.
A $2.00 an hour increase for roughly 10,000 eligible workers in public hospitals will also be extended.
Health Minister Christine Elliot says, "As we head into the fall, ensuring Ontario’s personal support workers are supported will ensure patients continue to receive the high-quality care they need."
