Boy hospitalized after being hit by a car at a Niagara-on-the-Lake school.
A Niagara-on-the-Lake school parking lot was the scene of a scary incident yesterday.
A ten year old boy was hospitalized after being pinned between two vehicles.
The NRP tells us the incident occurred around 9:00 a.m. in the parking lot at St. Michaels School on Line 3 Road in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
The boy was getting his backpack out of the trunk of a car, when the vehicle behind moved forward and struck him, pinning him between the two cars.
The child was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the car that hit the child was a GMC Acadia, and they're asking anyone with information to call detectives at 905-688-4111, ext 1002200.
No charges have been laid at this time, but the investigation continues.
