Tops Friendly Market store will reopen tomorrow
Two months after the Buffalo mass shooting that saw 10 black people killed at a Tops Friendly Supermarket where it happened is set to reopen.
The store will reopen to the public tomorrow following a prayer service and moment of silence slated for this (Thursday) afternoon to honor the victims, store workers and community members impacted by the May shooting.
In a statement from the company, Tops executives, along with community members, local dignitaries and other guests are expected to be on-hand today, two months to the day of the shooting, and the company said the store "will quietly and respectfully reopen to the public."
Today's ceremony is scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m., marking the time the mass shooting began on May 14.
