Wondering what the battle against COVID-19 is costing us?
Niagara's Acting Medical Officer of Health telling the region's public health committee he expects the unit will spend more than $22 million this year in the fight against the novel coronavirus.
But Dr. Mustafa Hirji does expect help from the province pointing out in a typical year the government covers about 70 percent of public health budgets.
And he notes there is an expectation the Ford government will refund 100 percent of COVID related costs.
