The Region will be halting the pick-up of large household items from the curb for apartment buildings six units or less and family households.
This change starts Wednesday March 25th and comes in line with the recent efforts by the Region to restrict the spread of COVID-19 among workers and the public.
This suspension will be in effect until April 17.
Residents can still dispose of large items themselves at Walker Environmental or a Niagara Region landfill site.
