Hundreds of people rallied together for a trunk-or-treat event at Club Capri last night, for nine-year-old Carter Dery.
He living with a rare genetic condition and he has a surgery scheduled for today.
Dery dressed up as a Hamilton Tiger-Cats football player while trick-or-treating last night. He also got to meet Ti-Cats kicker Liram Hajrullahu.
Dery is planning on sharing his candy with other kids at McMaster Children's Hospital.
