Police have arrested three people after stolen property was discovered in Fort Erie.
Three Fort Erie residents have been arrested after police found stolen property at a residence.
Yesterday, an officer driving along Highland Avenue near Central Avenue discovered a blue garden trailer parked in the driveway of a house.
Inside the trailer was a green John Deere Riding Lawn Mower.
The detective recognized the trailer and mower as possibly having been stolen from a Ridgeway property.
The theft is believed to have occurred overnight on September 21-22, and power tools were taken as well.
A search warrant was conducted yesterday, and investigators seized the mower, trailer and other items linked to the Ridgeway break and enter.
Three people were arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime.
Facing charges are 43 year old Richard Ronald Kinsella, 35 year old Felicia M. Lyrette and 52 year old Eric Michael Hagen, all from Fort Erie.
Hagen also faces a charge of failing to comply with probation.
Anyone with information on the investigation is asked to call police at 905-688-4111, extension 1022300.
