It's a third day of talks for the province and the union representing public elementary school teachers.
The Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario says it will escalate job action next week is a deal isn't reached today.
Both sides aren't discussing bargaining talks held yesterday.
If no deal is reached by the deadline, public elementary teachers will walk off the job twice next week.
A province-wide strike is planned for Thursday.
A rotating, one-day strike would also close all elementary schools in the District School Board of Niagara on Friday.
